As a child, whenever I travelled to Johannesburg by bus, I\u2019d find myself glued to the window whenever we passed through. It reminded me of a small European village<\/strong>: horses grazing in fog-draped fields, cottages with chimney smoke curling into the sky, and houses with wooden frames and stone finishes that looked like they belonged in a Hallmark movie. I used to quietly envy it all.<\/p>\n

The views were breathtaking, and the hospitality matched it step for step. It\u2019s the kind of space where luxury and nature coexist so effortlessly, you forget you\u2019re just a few hours outside Johannesburg.<\/p>\n

I found the atmosphere especially comforting. There\u2019s something deeply calming about being surrounded by nature while still having access to a spa, gourmet food, and a cozy fireplace<\/strong>. If you\u2019re looking for a romantic getaway, a quiet celebration, or even a solo self-care escape, Walkersons is truly unmatched<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

It\u2019s also officially on our family travel bucket list<\/strong>, and I can\u2019t wait for us to tick it off soon, this time for a full weekend escape, just us and the countryside.<\/p>\n
