The festive season is almost here, and I can already feel the excitement in the air. Shops are sparkling with tinsel and fairy lights, families are swapping holiday plans, and there’s that unmistakable December buzz that makes South Africa come alive.
This year feels different though, it’s my second festive season with a baby in tow but this time around baby is more active and alert. As much as I love the idea of holiday getaways and Christmas travel, the reality is that babies come with extra planning. From sleep schedules to packing baby essentials, celebrating with little ones can feel overwhelming.
Still, I don’t want to miss out on the festive magic. So instead of stressing, I’ve been exploring baby-friendly holiday ideas that allow me to celebrate without the overwhelm. Luckily, South Africa has some amazing options that are perfect for families with little ones.
